Who doesn’t like tacos?

We have three different catering packages tailored to suit the size of your gathering:


A self-serve DIY taco bar great for small parties of 10-30 people. A minimum of 72-hours notice is needed to order.

  • You pick it up from our Catering Kitchen at 133 SW Century Dr, Bend, OR 97702
  • Choice of either hot or cold preparation
  • Plateware and serving ware is not included but can be added to your order
  • Chaffing dishes are available to rent

Pricing

Fillings are sold by the pound, no partial pounds, and a 15 lbs maximum. Each pound makes 8-10 tacos. Most people eat 3 tacos.

  • $30/pound taco fillings for Hot Mule pick up
  • $25 /pound taco fillings for Cold Mule pick up

Prices include onions and cilantro, cotija cheese, salsas, fried serranos, limes, radish, and twelve corn tortillas.

$100 order minimum + 20% service charge.

How does it work?

Step 1: Choose your Fillings + Extras = You tell us which taco fillings you want, how many pounds of each, and then pick any side dishes you need, like chips & salsa or a side of rice & beans!

Step 2: Check your inbox for an email from our team. Once you’ve paid the invoice, your order is locked in!

El Sancho small group catering in Bend, Oregon

Our El Jefe catering package is ideal for 15-65 people. It includes a taco attendant that will set up your taco bar and stick around for a full 60 minutes to ensure all is well. If able to, please provide 2 weeks of advance notice.

  • El Jefe service is limited to a 30-minute drive from our shop

Baller Status aka “We want the cart!” Get the full experience of El Sancho with our team and taco cart – a fun and festive addition to your party! The cart books up fast, so reserve early.

Tacos + Sides = Price Per Person

  • 2 sides = $23
  • 3 sides = $25
  • 4 sides = $27
  • + 20% service charge

Catering Booking Policy

The Mule:

Mule catering orders require full payment to complete the order. Payments can be made easily online through your invoice once you receive it.

El Jefe and Baller Status:

  1. In order to reserve the taco cart, we require a 50% deposit to reserve your date. If canceled 30 days prior to the event you will receive a full refund of the deposit. 7-29 days prior to the event you will receive a 25% refund of the deposit. Less than 7 days notice there will be no refund of deposit available.
  2. Date changes may incur a $50 rescheduling fee to cover our staff time to rearrange and redistribute supplies, staff, and kitchen schedules.
  3. Menu changes made less than three weeks from the event date may incur a change fee of $50-$200, depending upon the scope.
  4. Most of our catering planning needs to be three weeks out for staff scheduling. When catering orders are changed last minute, it translates to higher costs for us. We will assess those change fees to customers who do not plan appropriately in advance or have needs that arise last minute. We regret that we must pass this cost onto you, but we operate on very narrow margins as is.
  5. Bar Service is only for catering customers who order at least $300 worth of margaritas (3 gallons or 60 portions). Bar service is for three hours, starts a half-hour before dinner, and ends a half-hour after dinner. We charge $200 per bartender. If you furnish the materials/supplies for other beverages, our bartenders can also serve those drinks.
  6. The Baller taco cart takes 1.5 hours to set up on-site and prepare your meal. If you need our team to set up early, we can arrive up to one hour earlier for an additional $150. Because the Jefe has hot food transported from our kitchen, we do not offer an early setup.

Why do we charge a service fee?

The 20% service fee goes directly to our serving staff and kitchen staff to compensate them fairly and equitably for their hard work to prepare, package, and deliver the catered meals.
