EASTSIDE TACO SHOPSadly, our Eastside taco shop sustained a structural fire in June 2024 and will be closed during construction. We are working hard to reopen mid-May 2025!
Our Galveston location remains open on the Westside, and you’ll still find us at Crux and other events around town. We are grateful for our community’s support and hope to see you again soon!

About El Sancho
El Sancho’s mission is to provide the community with high quality street food at an affordable price and in a sustainable manner.
Our travels through Mexico, combined with Pacific Northwest culture, have created our unique style and approach. We value using locally raised/made products and supporting the community we live in. We cook everything from scratch and want you to feel like you just ate a great home-cooked meal when you dine with us!
In 2010, El Sancho took root as one of the first local food carts in downtown Bend. A few years later, we created our taco shack at Pak-It Liquidators, our junkyard oasis. After Pak-It closed, we moved the cart to Crux Fermentation Project, where we still have our taco shack setup today. We opened our taco shop on Dekalb Ave in 2015 and created a permanent home and headquarters for El Sancho. If you want the full Sancho experience, then this is your spot. Our Galveston St taco shop opened in 2020 and serves a smaller yet still full taco and margarita menu for when you come off the river/mountain/trail and are looking for a quick fix. We also have our catering and event outpost off of Columbia St for when you want to bring Sancho to your party!

Who doesn’t like tacos? We have 3 catering options:
A self-serve DIY taco bar for small parties
-A minimum of 72 hours notice required
-You pick it up from our catering kitchen
-Choice of either hot or cold preparation
-Plateware, serving ware, & chafing dishes are not included but can be added
